WPA is pleased to announce : WPA Artist, Si Jae Byun, Wins Emerging Artist Award at (e)merge art fair 

On October 5, Phillips Director Dorothy Kosinski and Curators Klaus Ottmann and Vesela Sretenovic selected Si Jae Byun's Wind #7  in Jungle as the winner of The Phillips Collection Emerging Artist Prize from works displayed by Washington Project For The Arts in the third annual (e)merge art fair. The award is the first of its kind for the museum and Wind #7 in Jungle will become part of their permanent collection.

"WPA is so proud of Si Jae and our many talented member artists and we are thrilled to play a small part in advancing the career of Si Jae Byun," said Lisa Gold, WPA Executive Director.
