about the participants

Rob Giampietro became MoMA's Director of Design in 2018 after working as a Design Team Leader at Google. Before that he was principal at Project Projects, a design firm that works extensively with the art world.

Christian Dutilh is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and musician. He is co-founder of Composite Co., a design studio based in Washington, DC that focuses on branding, graphic design, and interiors projects, working predominantly in the arts and culture sectors. His work tends to be highly conceptual. He sees the future of design as being less about image-making and more about solving problems and challenging people. He holds a BA in International Relations from the College of William & Mary.

Jacob Weinzettel is an artist, graphic designer, and co-founder of Composite Co., a design studio based in Washington, DC that focuses on branding, graphic design, and interiors projects, working predominantly in the arts and culture sectors. His work is inspired by neuroaesthetics, the burgeoning field of research surrounding how the brain perceives and analyzes visual stimuli and ascribes value to it. He holds a BA in Biology from Wheaton College and has participated in Typography Summer School in New York and A School, A Park in Montreal.
