Galvanized poultry netting, donated women's clothing and undergarments

Stretch is composed of donated clothing and undergarments from over 25 women, which are wrapped, woven, and stretched over an armature of galvanized poultry netting. These clothing artifacts – some of which are associated with either significant or inconsequential personal histories – hold a subtle narrative, and form colorful and intricate 'sculptural paintings' suspended from the ceiling in the lower level of DC's Carnegie Library.

Stretch was featured in Nuit Blanche: Art All Night DC 2015, and at the Jackson Art Center in Washington, DC. From January 9 - February 21, Stretch will be exhibited in Art In Motion: The 25th Anual Juried Exhibition at The Mansion at Strathmore, in North Bethesda, MD.
