This is one work in a series titled "In the Garden" which uses everyday apples marked with the word EVIL referencing the story of the Garden of Eden as the beginning of gender disparity. The photographs place the EVIL apples in settings with gender, bible or fairy tale associations After I use the apples in styled photo shoots, they are freeze dried to become part of permanent sculptural objects, as shown here.
