Edge of the Forest (2020)

In this painting I was thinking about the vast sense of space in a forest. I think this perception is especially true of places you may not of been before. I was also thinking about the enchanting flow of landscape and how when one ventures out into nature how many surprising things one can find on a mountain path. So I believe the figures are feeling a sense of discovery but this is totally open to interpretation.
