Materials:Cut from one sheet of hand-blown transparent blue glass and pieces of white marble cut into 5/8” thick flat half circles hold and separate the glass sheets.
Synopsis:Rectangles of glass are placed vertically in a sequence that mimics the structural interior of Chartres Cathedral in France. The swirls caused by the spinning process of hand blown glass are amplified when light travels through the glass, and the ripples are seen as wavy shadows.
