Acrylics on canvas board,

I'm painting a continuing acrylic series I call "Rust Town." Each work shows a different and exaggerated facet, wryly drawn with a wink and a dry smile, of the culture of small-town rural America. The Nursing Facility and Petting Zoo in Rust Town is filled with discarded old folks. Some are being fed popcorn while others are staring at death? a passerby? Someone is missing from his wheelchair. The Rust Town cowpoke likes the fancy girl in polkadots while a young boy enjoys watching the penned-in old folks on display.
