The Brentwood Arts Center located at 3901 Rhode Island Ave., Brentwood, MD (one mile north of the District Line) contains working space for 10-15 artists with studios in the 300-1400sf ranges. The BAC is a refurbished warehouse with new air and heating system, tall ceilings, cement floors, common area/ kitchenette, loading dock and outstanding natural light.
This is an excellent location for artists who teach. Prince George’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Division will run a gallery and classroom space on the first floor. (Tenants will be able to rent the Park and Planning classroom.)
Our vision for the Brentwood Arts Center is to have a vibrant arts center that provides artists with a functional safe workspace and encourages programming that engages the neighboring community, artists in the Gateway Arts District and artists throughout the region. We are looking for artists who share the Gateway CDC’s community sensibility. |
