We are pleased to report that Washington Project for the Arts' 2010 Art Auction Gala was a smashing success! All funds raised from sales of tickets and artwork allow WPA to continue its mission of supporting area artists and presenting contemporary art.
This year's sold out event was especially exciting with over 700 of the region's tops artists, collectors, curators, and arts patrons in attendance.
Below is a selection of unsold works featured in the Cream exhibition, which were on view at the American University Museum from January 30 to March 6, 2010. Artists receive 50% of the proceeds of all sales. These works are available for purchase at the reserve price until March 31, 2010.
