Kimberly Gladfelter Graham
Independent Curator
Baltimore, MD

Born in the wilds of rural Maryland, Kimberly Gladfelter Graham grew up surrounded by woods, stuffed deer heads, and plaid. Encouraged to explore her creative inclinations, she took up an art history major, ran the gallery at her alma mater, and worked with an extensive collection of Soviet Non-conformist art owned by the eccentric Dr. Norton Dodge. She built her network in the art world through her roles as Assistant Director of The Art Gallery at the University of Maryland and Director of Hemphill Fine Arts. Kimberly has managed many exhibitions, advised numerous corporate and private collectors, and spoken widely on the art world and collecting. In her current role as domestic diva and COO of 1013Artistry, Kimberly is doing a bit of independent curating and private consulting. Still…for this curator a walk in the woods is one of life’s most spiritual experiences, while stuffed deer heads and plaid continue to inform her deep sense of appreciation for alternative cultural experiences.
